I'm a value investor. That means I like cheap stocks. But not just ordinary cheap stocks, I like something unique to be happening at the companies I'm investing in. I liken it to a combination of Warren Buffett's partnership days plus Joel Greenblatt's famous book on special situations investing, You Can Be A Stock Market Genius.

In this book, I make a case for ten value stocks that I believe should outperform the overall market in 2023. For each stock, I'll outline what they do, why it's interesting, and what I think it's worth.
